Opening hours of the Scout Shop:

Sat: 0900-1800hrs
Sun-Mon & public holidays: closed

Meetings announcement

Dear all,

there will be no scout meetings on the
23 Dec 2006 and 30 Dec 2006. The Group Gathering scheduled on the 30 Dec has been cancelled.

However, all are expected to turn up for the "OPEN HOUSE" preparation on the 28 Dec and 29 Dec. We will advise the reporting time for these 2 dates after Christmas.

Scout Meeting 16 Dec 2006

Dear all,

be reminded that the Camp Store Maintenance meeting will be held on 16 Dec 2006.
Time - 9am to 1pm (if we finish earlier, we will go home earlier!! 1pm should be the latest.)
Attire - VS PE Shirt & Shorts

the 16 Dec 2006 was originally scheduled to be a non meeting day. But in view of the rain on the last day of camp we need to come back for camp store maintenance.

The focus for this Maintenance Day is
1. Tents - dry them, repair if necessary, oil the pegs, remove rust from tent poles.
2. Ropes - dry all ropes used, repair and whip loose ends
3. Pack pioneering poles back to pole racks.
4. Pack QM Store in 4th Floor

We hope to see all of you coming in to help! Only those who have made prior arrangements like overseas trip or "make up tuition lessons" will be excused.

(This Test slot is "open" for all those who need to do any re tests. Prepare yourself. You can choose to re take any test you have failed before! This includes those who failed the PLTC Theory Paper.)

the meeting outline is attached for your reference.

Reminders :

1. SA1 / SA2 Results Photocopy
those who have not submitted their SA1/SA2 photocopy of their results slips are to do so by this Sat to Derrick Fun. This will be the last reminder. Those who fail to do so by this Sat will be separately dealt with by the GSL.

2. Progress Tests
sec 1 and 2 Scouts - take note and prepare for your respective progress tests this Sat. If you have missed or failed any earlier tests, you can ask the Testmasters to allow you to redo them after Scout meeting.

sec 3 - those who have not complete the FC Knots 1 are to prepare for the Test under GJ this Sat.

3. Group Camp Consent Form and Camp Fee
Submit the consent form & Camp Fee ($20) to Derrick Fun this Sat.
We need to confirm the number of camp participants for food, logistics and activities arrangement. If you do not submit the consent form & Camp Fee by this Sat, we will assume that you are not turning up for the Camp. You will pay a higher Camp fee of $25 for Late submission after this Sat.

Dear all,

the deadline for submitting the 5 ASSIGNMENTS for the Healthy Lifestyle Proficiency Badge is 28 October 2006, Sat. @ 8am.

all assignments must be be typed written and presented in a clear folder file neatly.

ONLY those who submit their assignments on time will be allowed to take the written test on the 4th Nov 2006, Sat @ 1.30pm.

You are strongly advised to start on the assignments immediately after your exams.
