Dear all,

27/11 NPC Logistics
this Thurs (27/11) is Day 1 of NPC. I would like ALL available sec 1 to 4 Scouts to come down to school on 27/11 to help with the Logistics. You will help to load and unload the logistics needed for the NPC in VS as well as Sarimbun.

Pls be down at 7.30am tomorrow.
Attire - VS PE Attire.
The NPC Patrol needs your support!

DO NOT FORGET to turn up for the the Open House this Sunday. Fall in at the Den at 12.15pm with lunch taken.

No Scout Meetings until 18 Oct 2008

Dear all,

Scout Meetings will be suspended from this Sat. 13 Sep 08. Meetings will resume after SA2 exams on the 18 Oct 2008.

However, all sec 3s Scouts are to meet GSL this Sat (13 Sep) for their First Class Hike briefing. Time - 9am to 10.30am. Attire - PLTC tee shirt and VS Shorts. Venue - Scout Den.

All CCA members are required to do a survey. Look out for this survey in your email. Complete it by this coming Monday. Submit a printed copy of the survey on the 15 Sep.

Sec 1s and 2s,
you are to submit all "Healthy Lifestyle" course assignments to GSL this coming Monday (15 Sep) after school (1.40pm). Late submission of assignments will not be accepted and considered as failed case. For those who missed the HPB workshop are to see GSL on15 Sep.

Written test will be held tentatively on the 19 Sep, Fri at 1.30pm.

Sec 2s and 3s who have not submitted the PLTC consent form and $25 camp fee are to do so this Sat promptly.

Scout Meeting on 31 May 08

Dear all,

here's the programme for this Sat Scout meeting.

Reminders.

1. PLTC briefing for all sec 2s and 3s will be held this Sat from 2 to 3.30pm. Attendance is complusory.

2. For all (esp. sec 1s) who have purchased new Group Polo and Roundneck t-shirts, you are to stitch your name initial on the "size tag" For example, if your name is Chun Kit then stich a simple "CK". We do not want confusion during scout meeting!

3. Remind your parents or maid not to use bleaching solution for the Group Polo. The Emblem will be "decolorised" and you will have to purchase another shirt.

For those going to Anderson Campfire on the 30 May,
meet Bryan Yong at Ang Mo Kio MRT control station at 6pm. His HP no. is 94668706.

Crescent Campfire is on the 31 May. Instructions will be given during Scout meeting this Sat.

Donation Draw & PLTC

Dear all,

SSA Donation Draw Tickets (DDT) are now ready for collection. Your PLs will be distributing them to you this Sat (31/5). If you are not able to attend this Sat Scout meeting for a valid reason (like overseas), do email your respective PLs. You must make arrangement to collect the DDT books asap when you return from overseas or at the next Scout meeting.

The distribution table is attached for your reference. Essentially, if you have attained $300 or more for Job Week 2008, you will be given 8 DDT books (sec 1 & 2), 9 DDT books (sec 3s) and 4 DDT books (sec 4s). Each book contains 5 $2 tickets.

However, if you earned less than $300 for the Job Week 2008, you will be given additional books accordingly.

For those who did not take part in Job Week 2008, you will be given 8 additional books.
For those who earn between $0 and $100, you will be given 4 additional books.
For those who earn between $100 and $200, you will be given 3 additional books.
For those who earn between $200 and $300, you will be given 2 additional books.
For sec 4s who earn less than $300, you will be given 1 additional book.

* To qualify for Squirrel Badge Award - 16 books

1. All to bring a photocopy of your SA1 report card

- if you only want the GSL (for whatever reason) to see your SA1 results, leave the copy in a sealed envelop before handing it to your respective PLs.

2. Dismissal Time - we are having a slightly later dismissal time this Sat so that we can tidy up our NEW POLE RACK which will be installed tmr. However, if you have plans with your family members for FAMILY DAY tmr, DO LET ME KNOW so we can work things out.
